Overview

 

Intrepid Solutions is building a cyber team for new work at Fort Meade, MD, and Augusta, GA.

Responsibilities

The Security Architect will design enterprise and systems security throughout the development lifecycle; translates technology and environmental conditions (e.g., law and regulation) into security design and processes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies
  • Knowledge of organization's enterprise information security architecture system
  • Ability to build architectures and frameworks
  • Knowledge of network access, identity, and access management (e.g., public key infrastructure [PKI])
  • Knowledge of network design processes, to include understanding of security objectives, operational objectives, and tradeoffs
  • Knowledge of integrating the organization's goals and objectives into the architecture
  • Plan implementation strategy to ensure enterprise components can be integrated and aligned
  • Knowledge of embedded systems
  • Knowledge of human-computer interaction principles
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, Dynamic Host Configuration, Domain Name System (DNS), and directory services
  • Develop / integrate cybersecurity designs systems and networks with multilevel security requirements or requirements for the processing of multiple classification levels of data primarily applicable to government organizations (e.g., UNCLASSIFIED, SECRET, and TOP SECRET)
  • Knowledge of how traffic flows across the network (e.g., Transmission Control Protocol [TCP] and Internet Protocol [IP], Open System Interconnection Model [OSI], Information Technology Infrastructure Library, current version [ITIL])
  • Knowledge of parallel and distributed computing concepts

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or applicable field
  • Master’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or applicable field preferred

 

 

  • 15+ years of relevant, progressive Security Engineer experience
