Security Analyst – Tyndall AFB, FL

BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.
POSITION SUMMARY:
BB&E is seeking a Security Analyst to provide support to the 325th Security Forces Squadron onsite at Tyndall AFB, FL.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact throughout the duty day with the general public, drivers of commercial deliveries, and a large number of construction contractors requiring access to Tyndall AFB, FL.
- Enter base visitor request information into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) computer system to perform security background investigation checks for all visitors requesting a pass from the Visitor Control Center (VCC) and the Tyndall Commercial Vehicle Entry Gate (Cleveland Gate).
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior knowledge and experience handling Base Pass & ID requirements for construction and contractor personnel, the general public, and commercial delivery drivers desired.
- Prior work experience interacting with the general public and/or similar security-related work desired.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Minimum High School Diploma required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Minimum one (1) year of related experience required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow direction from management.
- Good computer typing skills.
- Ability to quickly and accurately interpret results from NCIC security background reports in order to identify applicants deemed unfavorable for access.
- Successful completion of a T-1 Trustworthiness background check for a Common Access Card (CAC), or the ability to obtain one.
- Motivated self-starters requested.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds.
