Principal Solutions Architect - Global Enterprise Network Security (remote)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Global Enterprise Network Security Principal Solutions Architect is a practice builder, technical expert and business leader with expertise in securing networks utilized in delivering media applications. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Solutions Architecture, this position provides thought leadership in an elevated value proposition to our largest customers. The position builds from AVI-SPL market leadership in providing UCC solutions on the Cisco, Microsoft, Zoom and Google platforms 

General Qualifications

Ability to analyze customer situations, make decisions and solve problems under pressure.  Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and detail.  Ability to maintain positive working relationships with management, co-workers, and vendors where customer experience is the focus.  Ability to communicate effectively face-to-face, in groups, and via telephone and written communication.  Ability to travel.  Ability to sit for long periods of time entering computer data, researching leads, and telephone communication (up to eight (8) hours).  Ability to be detail oriented, work without supervision and must be available during working hours.

3. Technical white board demonstrations to clients and partners
4. Complete and profitable bill of materials
5. Accurate and profitable labor estimations
6. Service design and services attach
7. Accurate documentation of customer solutions

1. Billable Hours of Customer Engagement
1. LAN to WAN Security FW Deliverables
2. Secure Networking Workshops
3. Network Security Audits
4. Cloud Security and Optimization
5. Security Applications and Service Integrations
6. Network Security Solutions Implementation Project Oversite
7. Network Security Services Subscriptions

1. General Efforts
1. Must be conversant in relevant competitive security solutions, products, and services
2. Must deliver seminars with technical presentations to sales and engineers
3. Must create supporting documentation, white papers and case estudies for enterprise security methodology and solutions
4. Development of technical sales collateral for specific AVI-SPL security offers
5. Provide any other support around Security subject matter to ensure AVI-SPL operates beyond industry standards

1. KPIs
1. Practice growth, ARR, TCV, GPM, billable consulting hours, product pull through, services attach and engagement work hour percentage

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Haves:

• 5+ Years as an IT Network Architect / Consultant
• Hybrid business leader and practice builder
• Enterprise UCC application and networking expertise
• Global IT customer service work experience
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Collaborative team player

Education and/or Experience:

• College degree preferred.
• Current Network and Application Security Professional Certifications.
