Who we're looking for...

We are looking for a "Sr. Azure Security Architect" to join our team. This role will start off directly supporting one of our largest clients in the Finance/Mortgage industry (BFS), with the ability to work with other clients that Cocolevio supports.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Azure Security Architecture and Engineering efforts, providing guidance and expertise in implementing robust security measures.
• Develop and maintain security controls aligned with common information security standards such as NIST CSF, SOX, SOC2, FEDRAMP, and CIS Controls.
• Ensure compliance with cyber security controls frameworks and regulatory requirements including NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CSA CCM, SOX, and Privacy regulations.
• Design and implement Azure cloud-native solutions, leveraging microservice architecture, containerization, and non-functional requirements to enhance security posture.
• Utilize expertise in Azure public cloud, O365, Azure DevOps, and related tools to architect secure solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure ARM Template (Terraform or Biceps), PowerShell, and Azure CLI for infrastructure provisioning and automation.

Requirements (Must Have):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Azure Security, with a focus on security architecture and engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter while also serving as a senior resource leading security initiatives.
• Deep understanding of cyber security controls frameworks and regulatory requirements, including NIST standards, SOX, and privacy regulations.
• Expertise in Azure cloud technologies, including Azure DevOps, microservice architecture, and containerization.
• Hands-on experience with Azure ARM Template (Terraform or Biceps), PowerShell, and Azure CLI.

• Azure Security Engineer Certification
• Microsoft Cyber Security Architect Certification
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

Note: Candidates must be able to commute regularly to our Northern Virginia office for this hybrid role. Only apply if you can report onsite to our Northern Virginia location.

Compensation: As required by applicable state or local law, the pay range for this position is $100,000 to $140,000. Please note that the range may extend from the lowest to the highest hourly wage or salary that the employer in good faith believes at the time of the posting it would pay.
