Atlassian is embarking on a series of strategic enhancements aimed at bolstering the security and efficiency of our corporate IT environment. As a corporate security engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying new security controls for our fleet of Mac and Windows devices.

Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $190,500 - $253,900
Zone B: $171,400 - $228,500
Zone C: $158,100 - $210,800
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Golang, Java etc.); and
Proven experience in corporate IT security, with a strong background in implementing security solutions across a diverse IT landscape.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Experience writing queries for Splunk
Knowledge of enterprise browser management
Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO27001, HIPPA, FedRAMP
Experience with data loss prevention tooling
An IT background including system administration skills, especially with AD, SSO, Google Workspace, and AWS environments; and
Experience with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), with an emphasis on vendor security assessments
