JOB SUMMARY:

Serve as the contact for internal and external customers to resolve fraud and security situations. Works closely with management, notifying them of any reporting or compliance requirements.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Performs bank fraud monitoring with various systems which includes; Yellowhammer and Fraud Detective, returns, large currency transactions, wire transfers, SMBonline, etc.
  • Responsible for monitoring various reports such as Cash Detail report, Kite Suspect, OFAC tracking, and FinCEN searches.
  • Responsible for following bank procedures with Garnishments/Levies.
  • Responsible for monitoring high-risk customers.
  • Ensures that annual security training for all bank employees has been completed.
  • Works closely with Fraud & Security Officer, Operations Support Manager, local law enforcement agencies and other area banks involving fraud/security issues.
  • Performs annual security audits.
  • Assemble financial documents related to investigation findings or subpoena requests, including filing SAR's.
  • Create and maintain logs, records, or databases of information about fraudulent activity.
  • Process debit card fraud disputes

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Bank operations experience
  • Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, energetic
  • Multi-task / Detail oriented
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Jack Henry)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time. The ability to sit, bend, squat, twist and lift/carry coin bags weighing up to 50 lbs. is also required. This position requires a working knowledge of computers, printers and general office equipment.
